  • Technician found no coolant leaks at this time. Technician performed a block test to verify that vehicle is not loosing coolant in the combustion system, engine passes block test. Technician put vehicle under pressure over night and found no coolant leaks. No further recommendations at this time
  • Technician found that the battery is loosing voltage causing control modules to not be able to communicate as designed, storing lost communication fault codes to be stored in multiple control modules. Technician found that the battery terminal does not fit on battery, and there is no tie down for the battery causing battery move with the vehicle, causing an intermittent connection. Battery terminal poorly repaired/fitted with a paperclip. Recommend replacing battery and negative battery terminal
  • Technician found that the transmission pan has a large/excessive leak. Unable to perform further testing on transmission until leak is sealed and the proper amount of transmission fluid is in the transmission

  • Technician found that the window seal was folded over causing water to leak into interior. Upon further inspection, technician found that seal had been folded for a long period of time because the crease in seal is permanent. Recommend replacing window seal.

  • Rear Seats will not recline, cust requested if reset will correct this concern – Test & Advise
  • Technician found loose screws as well as a broken plastic piece inside of right front door panel. Removed debris and re-secured screws were they are supposed to go. No further recommendations at this time.
  • Technician found multiple lights unplugged. Verified power & ground to al lights. Resecured lights and found no other issues at this time, however due to issues with the body control module (please see continued electrical testing notes), and evidence that someone else has been in all doors due to unplugged lights and misplaced screws, that lights control by body control module may be working intermittently. Advised customer, no further recommendations at this time.
  • Technician was not able to reset rear seats and found that when the front seat memory system s being used, the rear seats are able to be adjusted / recline. If memory system is not being used, rear seat incline will not function. Technician verified power and ground at all electrical connectors to the body control module as we as at the rear seats and found the body control module to be faulting intermittently. Advised customer body control module will need to be replaced to correct concern.
